El Conquistador Resort

An hour east of San Juan in Fajardo, El Conquistador is an excellent place to stay, especially if you’re planning to hit the links. The hilly terrain, wind and water features make El Conquistador’s golf course a super fun place to play. Plus, this 18-hole, par 72 golf course in Puerto Rico offers great views of the ocean and rainforest. Links at Royal Isabela

The Links at Royal Isabela has our vote for the views alone – you’ll be playing along cliffs 200 feet above the Atlantic. Located in Isabela, you’ll truly feel immersed in the nature of Puerto Rico in this secluded location. Native plants and birds add to the charm of this links-style course. The 14th and 17th holes are some of the most exciting on the course, with deep gorges and cliffside greens. You can stay on site at one of the resort’s deluxe suites and enjoy golf club rentals, a caddy program and a boutique pro shop among other amenities.

Palmas del Mar Golf Club

If you enjoy venturing off the beaten path, you can’t go wrong with Palmas del Mar Golf Club and its two beautifully manicured courses in Humacao, a wonderful seaside destination on the east coast of Puerto Rico.

The Flamboyán course is the more challenging of the two, but the Palm Course is just as enjoyable. These Puerto Rico golf courses feature a tight front nine, views of the Caribbean, large bunkers and scenic tracks. You can stay in the Palmas del Mar area or golf resort and enjoy the Club House with its own restaurant and the golf shop.
