Explore El Yunque – the Only Rainforest in the U.S.

What’s a better thing to do in Puerto Rico than exploring the only tropical rainforest in the U.S.? El Yunque is a top-tier destination if you want to immerse yourself in nature. There are tons of things to see and do in El Yunque, from bathing in natural pools beneath waterfalls to taking in the gorgeous scenery from its many hiking trails, but nothing beats the thrill of whipping through the rainforest canopy on a zipline. No matter how you choose to spend your time in the rainforest, you won’t be disappointed with the incredible biodiversity including over 50 species of tropical birds and 13 species of coqui frogs.

Dive into Underwater Worlds

Crystal-clear waters and thriving coral reefs make Puerto Rico one of the world’s best destinations for snorkeling and scuba diving. The calm, warm waters year-round ensure family-friendly snorkeling spots are not hard to come by, and there are more challenging locations for advanced swimmers or even scuba divers. Whether you’re an experienced diver or want to learn to dive on vacation, there are incredible places to dive in Puerto Rico for all skill levels.

Take a Private Boat Tour of San Juan Bay

San Juan Bay is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Puerto Rico. This beautiful bay is home to many luxury yachts and boats, including catamarans, waterbikes, and more. Whether you embark on a sailing tour from Old San Juan and visit some of the most notable sites in the island’s history or captain your own inflatable mini boat, this is the perfect place to find a private boat charter that’s exactly what you are looking for.

Explore the Caves of Puerto Rico

Delve deep into the earth to see one of the coolest sides of Puerto Rico. A variety of incredible caves makes Puerto Rico quite the destination for spelunkers. One of our favorite caves is Arecibo’s Cueva Ventana. Located on a limestone cliff on the side of a mountain, Cueva Ventana is easily accessible via a short hike. Once you reach the window-like opening it’s named for, you’ll see why this is one of the most picturesque spots of the island – its spectacular view of the Río Grande de Arecibo Valley. Discover a variety of cave tours and get ready for a magical excursion underground!
